Kenneth “Bret” Richardson was born and raised in Montana and attended Montana State University. His career has been defined by entrepreneurship, with successful ventures in both the information technology and financial services industries. In July 2017, Bret founded Stonefly Financial, where he has steadily grown his practice through a strong work ethic and a commitment to building lasting relationships with friends, family, and clients.
Bret believes that financial advising is fundamentally about helping people achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Whether guiding clients toward a successful retirement or developing investment strategies that align with their long-term objectives, he is dedicated to providing thoughtful advice and meaningful support through every stage of their financial journey.
Outside of the office, Bret enjoys traveling with his wife, DeeAnn, and spending time with their five children and ten grandchildren. A lifelong outdoor enthusiast, he takes full advantage of Montana’s natural beauty through hiking, fishing, and time at the lake. At home, he enjoys creating pottery in his studio, tending to his apple and grape orchard, and giving back to the community through volunteer work with his local Rotary chapter.
